Proprietary Visual Identity: From Illustrated Concept to Animation

The Institutional Challenge

The National Technological University (UTN) and the Central Region hosted a high-level event that brought together governors, national government officials, business leaders, and academics. The objective was to discuss regional economic development and sign strategic agreements. The design challenge was to create a visual identity that conveyed professionalism, innovation, and integration, functioning consistently across both the Eng. Héctor Aiassa Auditorium and all digital promotional channels.

From illustrated concept to animation

The National Technological University (UTN) and the Central Region required a visual identity for a high-profile event featuring governors and key business stakeholders. The primary goal was to convey complex concepts such as “energy transition,” “innovative agribusiness,” and “regional integration” in a unified, professional, and visually striking manner across both print media and auditorium screens.

I designed and developed a system of bespoke, original illustrations. This visual language conceptualized the infrastructure of the future (solar panels and wind turbines) and productive integration (the central gear emerging from the mountains), ensuring a unique and 100% proprietary visual identity for the UTN.

Motion Design

Once the illustrated aesthetic was defined, the next strategic step was to bring it to life. I animated these illustrations based on the client’s briefs, creating videos for the event’s main screens and hall displays (in both 16:9 and vertical formats). This ensured a dynamic visual identity across all auditorium screens, maximizing attendee engagement during the opening and the keynote speeches.

Deliverables / Project Scope

Custom-Made Illustrations: Creation of a proprietary visual system that defined the event’s overall aesthetic.

Motion Graphics & Animation: Horizontal video for the main screen and vertical video for digital totems, built from animated illustrations.

Editorial & Graphic Design: Adaptation of the visual system for printed flyers, WhatsApp assets, and A5 invitations, IG posts, ensuring full visual consistency.
